C. Saint-Saens: Samson and Delilah, The Split Open Air Sommer Festival,Split

“The undisputed star of the Split premiere was doubtless Terezija Kusanovic. After her great roles as Carmen in Bizet’s Carmen and Suzuki in Puccini’s  Madame Butterfly performed in the last season , it is unnecessarily to list all her artistic qualities.  Her exemplary vocal expression, equalized singing registers and mastered  dynamic nuances , her logical and musical phrasing and  the convincing  stage appearance have completely   fulfilled  the vocal and acting requirements of this very demanding role.
The character of Delilah, a temptress , a lover and an executioner,  was fully revived on the stage”.
